"I am a retired History Teacher who started to make various chess sets to remember different times in history. After I retired from teaching, I became involved in the 3D modeling community and started creating unique figures from various time periods. I love the detail that you get when printing 3D figures and then started making the highly detailed figures in resin to stand alone. I then started making various unique bases with different bas-relief images on the sides to make a base which might tell a story. Now, each figure is different with their own unique base. Through my work, I aim to honor those who have shaped our world, ensuring their stories are never forgotten." - Thomas Wierenga
